An Amazing Family

This Photo was taken by Renee Martinez

I have a cousin named Leo, very smart in his own little way.

I asked what his favorites were:
Color is Red, Thing to do is playing video games, Animal is a cheetah, TV show is “How I met your mother”, Holiday is his birthday and Toy is Pikachu.

He is just like any other child but in 2007 he was diagnosed with autism. I have no words to describe how amazing he is, my aunt Renee Martinez was there for me when I was younger, so for once I would like to do something amazing for her and Leo. I am joining with Autism Speaks and holding a fundraiser June 15, 2013. It is a long ways a way but I want to make sure that I get as many sponsors and volunteers for this event. I was thinking about a bike show, or car show or even a walk-a-thon or just doing all of them. I was thinking about blow-ups, T-shirts, face painting, food, bands, silent actions, I have a lot of things I would like to do but there is only so much I can do on my own. So this is where I am asking to donations, doesn’t matter what you donate anything will be great.

But I don’t want to stop there; I would like to find an office space and studio to have a program held for children with special needs and I don’t want to have it for just the children but for the whole family; something that everyone will enjoy. I plan to make a studio where children get to explore the art of photography. Where they can get there hand on a camera, and take pictures of their families and object to where they can feel like a photographer, then I will edit their work and make them a book.

This is my other challenge is a NAME what to name my program.
